EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Director of Energy Planning

The Community Energy Association (CEA) - The respected, non-profit leader in energy sustainability for British Columbia's communities - is seeking its next executive team member. The Director of Energy Planning will work closely with the Executive Director to secure funding, manage, and deliver CEA charitable programs and advisory services projects for local governments across British Columbia. You will contribute to this enterprising non-profit through a high-growth period aided by a solid reputation and a talented group of committed professionals.

 This is a permanent, full-time (negotiable) employee position, commencing as soon as possible given our current Advisory Services Senior Manager stepping into the Executive Director position effective December 1, 2010.   Annual salary is in the range of $70,000, plus benefits, commensurate with experience.  A Metro Vancouver location is strongly preferred though other locations will be considered.  A home office and flexible work schedule are possible. Travel is expected at least once/month.   The Director of Energy Planning reports to the CEA Executive Director.
