Infrastructure Canada Project Launched

The Community Energy Association has been awarded $500,000 in funding under the Knowledge building,Outreach and Awareness Program of Infrastructure Canada. The funding will support a three year program “Toward Energy Sustainability of Community Infrastructure,” intended to assist BritishColumbia municipalities, regional districts and First Nations. Other funding partners for the programinclude the Province of British Columbia, BC Hydro and Terasen Gas, while the Union of BritishColumbia Municipalities, Planning Institute of British Columbia and BC Transit are providing in-kindsupport for the program.
